I’m Sean Sessel, and I’m the founder of The Oculus Institute, as well as the creator of our flagship program: the Awaken course. I help people from around the country cut through their internal blocks, build bridges from places of desperation to brighter futures, find their true callings, and manifest those destinies.

Every day, people are waking up to the fact that they want more from life than working in someone else’s cubicle, reading someone else’s script, and running in the circles of someone else’s maze. People are looking for peace, passion, and purpose; they’re looking to truly LIVE… That’s why I have a long and growing waiting list of people who are interested in speaking to a member of my team to learn more about this program, and how they can work with the Oculus Institute to move from cog in the machine to author of their fate.

I’m looking for a passionate, persuasive person who can speak to these eager and excited prospective clients, help me decide if the client is a great fit for our program, and help the right people commit to working with us on their personal and professional goals.

However, this is NOT for everyone.

  • You are available Monday – Friday business hours in the United States. Time that isn’t spent on calls during the initial part-time phase will be ideally spent on training (there’s a lot of training).

  • You must value personal development and transformational processes that include a strong emphasis on mindset and consistent application of proven principles.

  • You are an honest person with high integrity. If someone is not a good fit for our program or the community we’ve built, you must be willing to serve them anyway and direct them elsewhere, even though it means that you won’t get a commission for that call.

  • You are a positive person. You know how to find the good in adverse situations as well as the gratitude in enjoyable ones.

  • You have drive and initiative. You are a person who follows through on his/her commitments and goes beyond as often as possible. You don’t jump ship or give up when things get hard.

  • You must be coachable and open to feedback. Our incentives are aligned, so you will receive significant amounts of constructive input in order to improve your skills.

  • You are detail-oriented, methodical, and conscientious. You will be making 3-6 60-minute enrollment phone calls every single workday. Each call will be with a different person with their own particular story, triumphs, and challenges, but there will be a STRUCTURE and a METHOD that you must stick to for EVERY SINGLE CALL.
  • You like people and have a strong sense of empathy. You must like speaking with people (on a 1-on-1 basis), connecting with people, and helping people.

  • You like speaking on the phone. You know how to connect and communicate well with people you cannot see face-to-face.

  • You have consistent access to reliable internet. Our team is primarily remote, so you’ll need your own laptop and reliable, fast internet connection.

How To Apply:

1. Create a 1-3 minute video explaining why you are the best fit for this position. You can upload it to Youtube and mark it as unlisted (NOT private. If you mark it as private, I won’t be able to see it). This will serve as your cover letter.

2. Send a single email to sean@oculusinstitute.com with your video and your resume.

3. Fill out this form or click the button below, which will be automatically emailed to someone at the Oculus Institute.

4. If you are selected to move forward, you will be contacted for the next steps.

Video Tips:

  • Do not send a video that is longer than 3 minutes.

  • Do not submit a video that is filmed with your phone.

  • Do not use built in microphones on laptops. The audio quality is generally quite poor. Use a USB microphone or headset (you will need one anyway to do enrollment calls).

  • Sit with your light source facing your face. For example, sit facing a window and film with your laptop webcam. The light source should be behind your camera—not behind you.

  • You do not need to make the video fancy. Filming with your webcam is fine.
